How ILT20 Points Work
Points decide the order of the table. When teams finish level on points, the team with the higher net run rate goes above. In Season 4, Gulf Giants and Sharjah Warriorz both finished on six points, and Gulf Giants took fifth place on net run rate.
How Net Run Rate Works
Net run rate (NRR) compares how quickly a team scores with how quickly it concedes runs, across all its matches.
NRR = (runs scored ÷ overs faced) − (runs conceded ÷ overs bowled)
Net run rate for this match: 9.00 − 8.00 = +1.000
Across a season, all runs and overs are added up before dividing. A team that is bowled out is counted as having faced its full 20 overs. Points always come first: last season MI Emirates had the best net run rate (+0.676) but finished second, two points behind Desert Vipers.

The top four teams after the league stage reach the playoffs. First and second meet in Qualifier 1, while third and fourth play the Eliminator.
