Prices from the league's official auction results, checked against the Cricbuzz and Wisden auction reports.

These well-known players were put up for sale at the auction, but no team bought them.

Before the auction, each team pre-signed four players from a $700,000 allowance; anything unspent was added to its $1.3 million base purse, so MI Emirates had the most to spend at $1.39 million. Each team had four Right to Match cards, one each for a Full Member, Associate, UAE, and Kuwait or Saudi Arabia player from its previous squad, to keep that player by matching the winning bid. Squads had to meet the league's quotas for UAE, Afghanistan, Ireland, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and other Associate players, and each team had to spend between $1.5 million and $2 million. Auctions began in 2025; before that, teams signed overseas players directly and picked UAE players in a draft. RTM and base prices explained.

The first ILT20 player auction was held in Dubai on 1 October 2025 for Season 4. Until then, teams had signed overseas players directly and picked UAE players in a draft. Andre Fletcher was the top buy at $260,000, with Scott Currie next at $250,000. R Ashwin entered with the highest base price, $120,000, but went unsold; he said he would not lower his price and committed to Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League instead.
